ABOUT

Ale is a skilled furniture designer, maker, and educator. I left my native Spain to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Furniture Design and Fabrication at the Rhode Island School of Design. 

Over the course of my career, I have worked for several international industrial designers, developed products for individuals with autism, and designed and built dozens of community projects with inner-city youth.

Prior to becoming the Program Director at Project H Design, I was the high school instructor of the Studio H design / build class at REALM Charter School in Berkeley, California.

In my free time, I love to sketch, make jewelry, ride my bike, swim in the ocean, and travel.
